1st August 1936: the French people access free time through the vote for paid holidays. No law has taken such a mythical dimension.
Finally! To see the sea, to go to the mountains, to pitch your tent by the rivers, to offer yourself a full board at the hotel.
All these moments were photographed or filmed to produce beautiful memories. From these images captured over time, from yesterday to today, by the inhabitants of the central region of France, Stereoptik creates Congés Payés, a show that mixes this cinema of holidays with music, drawing and manipulation of objects. Created live.
On an initiative of Excentrique, festival implemented by Culture O Centre, space for cultural development carried by the Région Centre. With the collaboration of l'Echalier / La Grange de St. Agil. All the archives of the show are from the collections of the Pôle Patrimoine de Ciclic.
