The choreographer from Marseille, of Rwandan origin, conducts a project with residents of La Castellane. From meetings to workshops, from intimate stories to mixed voices, she weaves sensitive links, brings out words, provokes sparks.
"This city, which is ours" made Dorothée Munyaneza want to embark on a new adventure on this territory by carrying out the work of exploration, immersion and relationship with the people from Marseille. From meetings to workshops, from intimate stories to mixed voices, she has woven sensitive links, has brought up words, has provoked sparks. So many materials that nourished his creation, L'Autre. A striking title for this artist who presented Samedi Détente at the Festival de Marseille in 2017 and felt, since then, the need to create and to exchange with the people there. While questioning us: "what is their inheritance, what do they leave us, what can we enroll together in the present moment, in this common present, now, in this city of Marseille? ".
